CUBA, large lot of República de Cuba notes of 1869, ex-Busto. Interesting lot containing several different República de Cuba issues from 1869: 5 pesos, series C (Pick-56a); 5 pesos, series F (Pick-56a); 1 peso, series I, with printed signature (Pick-55a); 1 peso, series B (Pick-55c); uncut strip of four 50 centavos (Pick-54); and two examples of Junta Central, 1 peso (Pick-61). Total: seven notes. Nice grouping illustrating some of the earliest of Cuban paper money with several tougher types represented, all generally VF or XF, some with collector's tags.
